Motorola introduced another rugged smartphone in the name of Defy Mini. This handset is water resistant, dust and shock proof with a Gorilla Glass display. The Defy Mini has a compact design measuring 109 x 58.5 x 12.55 mm and weighs only 107 grams. This Motorola smartphone is powered by a 600 MHz processor and 512 MB or RAM which is plenty to run Andorid 2.3.6 Gingerbread. The 3.2 inch HVGA display provides 480 x 320 pixels resolution and there is a 3MP rear facing camera along with a VGA front facing camera. There is only 512 MB of ROM but it is expandable to 32GB via microSD slot. Standard accelerometer, proximity, and compass sensor is available on this device and there is a stero FM radio with RDS. Expect to see the Defy Mini around spring of 2012 with a price of around $300.
