Lenovo has just announced the IdeaPad S2109 to compete with Apple's New iPad. In a teaser video, it was revealed to have a 9.7 inch display that uses IPS technology for wider viewing angle. The S2109 will be 8.9mm thick with 4 stereo speakers and dual cameras. There will be a micro HDMI port as well as micro USB port for easy data transfer.
The IdeaPad S2109 will ship with Android 4.0 ICS and Lenovo claims the tablet will have 10 hours of battery life. No info on release date but the rumored price is said to be around $349 which is way less than most competitors. If there is a decent processor and memory, look for this tablet to be very popular around the world. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
