If you are in the market for an ultrabook, you are in luck. HP has just reduced the price of the Folio 13. Earlier this year, sources reported that we will not see a price drop in ultrabooks until 2013. With the pending release of Intel's Ivy Bridge processor, we could see a ultra-drop in prices as much as 30%.
It looks like HP will be the first to lower their price as the HP Folio 13 is now available for as low as $850 on Amazon. This particular model is equipped with Intel Core i5 processor, 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 SDRAM, 128 GB Solid State Drive, 13.3" diagonal LED-backlit HD BrightView (1366 x 768), and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. It is a great bargain as Core i5 are usually retailing around $900+ leaving the i3 around $800. As more ultrabooks enter the market, expect companies to lower the prices even more. It's a good news for those who have been waiting. But if you can't wait any longer, hop over to Amazon and pick up your HP Folio 13.
