Of all the things I want to be able to control with my smartphone, the oven was never on the list. Samsung figured that there is enough of a demand so they created the Samsung Zipel (model # MC368GAAW5A). It's a real oven and not a concept tech. The oven can be control via Android app and will come with cooking pre-sets of over 160 dishes.
The Samsung Zipel can figure out the right temperture for various meats, vegetable, pastries, and just about anything else you put in the oven. It's even smart enough detect how much calories is in the food you are cooking. The app and the smartoven even has a unique voice control. I can picture myself asking my Android phone "when will my brownies be ready?" ... Samsung also claims the Zipel is extremely energy efficient and very easy to clean. The Zipel is a counter-top oven and not a range-top and it's currently only available in South Korea.
