Industry giant Nikon has announced 9 new camera to revamp it's Coolpix Line. Set to be released in sometime in February, the new point and shoot cameras will target a wide range of photographers. High end models include Nikon Coolpix P510 and P310 while the Nikon Coolpix S9300 and S6300 are pocket size beasts with 18x zoom. Nikon will reintroduce the Coolpix L120 as Coolpix L810 with greater zoom and super wide angle lens. Nikon is even bringing in a rugged camera that's waterproof and drop proof with the Nikon Coolpix S30. Lastly, 3 new entry level cameras, Coolpix S4300, Coolpix S3300, and Coolpix L26 will all be under $200.
The Coolpix P310 is a low light camera with a bright f/1.8 NIKKOR lens that provides a 4.2x optical zoom. Other notable features include: Backside illuminated CMOS sensor, 3 inch LCD display with 5 levels of brightness, 1080p HD video recording, night landscape mode, advanced night portrait mode, and backlight HDR. Nikon Coolpix S9300 and S6300
These 2 new camera are considered pocket zoom monsters. The S9300 features: 18X-optical-zoom, 16-megapixel backside illuminated CMOS sensor 1080p HD video capture, and GPS. The S6300 hosts a 10X-optical-zoom lens, fully automated functions, 1080p video capture, and share many of the same features as the S9300. The announced price for the S9300 is $350 and for the S6300 is $200. Both will be available in February 2012.
The Nikon Coolpix L-Series is led by Coolpix L810. This model will replace L120 from previous years. Features for the L810 includes: 26X ultra-wide-angle lens, 16 megapixel CCD sensor, 720p HD video recording, 3 inch LCD screen, and extra lens zoom control. The L810 has a target price of $280
Coolpix S4300 features: 3 inch touch screen, 6X-zoom lens, 16-megapixel CCD sensor, various capture modes, and 720p HD video recording.

Coolpix S3300 is the same camera as the S4300 but no touch screen display
Price: $140
Coolpix L26 features: 5X-optical-zoom lens, 16-megapixel CCD sensor, and records 720p HD video.

Lastly, Nikon has introduced a new rugged camera into the Coolpix line. This waterproof and shatterproof camera is great to take on those camping trips. Notable features include: 3X-optical-zoom lens, 10-megapixel CCD sensor, waterproof up to 10 feet and dropproof from 3 feet.
