Grace Digital just announced their waterproof boombox, Eco Terra. If you are into watersports or work around water, take a peek at this nifty little music machine. The Eco Terra is pretty much a mp3 player with two 3 inch forward firing speakers that are completely waterproof. This boombox even floats in water so it will never get lost at the bottom of the deep end.
This portable audio player connects to any mp3 device via a 3.5 mm jack so it's not limited to only a single brand. The Eco Terra has a uniquely designed exterior waterproof pressure release valve that ensures your case is closed air tight. There are elastic retention straps securely hold the audio device in place behind the closed clearview front panel. The external button on top of the Eco Terra to control the connected mp3 device so you will not have to open the air sealed chamber. There is also room inside the compartment to store your valuables that you don't wish to get wet. The Eco Terra take 4 C batteries and is said to be very energy efficient. This boom box will set you back about $150 and is available on Grace Digital's website.
