Arnova doesn't play around when it comes to tablets. Founded in March of 2011, Arnova has pumped out 12 tablets of different size, style, and capabilities. Arnova has claim a corporate objective of bringing the best technology at the lowest possible price. Currently, Arnova's android tablet line-up is the most any company has that's priced under $300.
Arnova G1 tablets:
The Arnova 10 features a 10.1" TFT LCD display with 1024x600 resolution. The Arnova 10 is powered by ARM Cortex-A8 processor. Dual OS ability (Linux, ANDROID 2.1). 8GB storage expandable via micoSD. Built-in speaker, microphone, G-sensor, and front VGA camera. The Arnova 10 is a very nice tablet price at $199.
The Arnova 8 sports an 8 inch, 4:3 ratio resistive touchscreen with 800 x 600 resolution. It has a 4 GB flash storage, and powered by 600MHz Rockchip RK2818 processor. Other features of the Arnova 8 includes: 720p high definition video playback, WiFi network connectivity, G-sensor, and Android 2.1. Arnova 8 retails for $149.
The last of the G1 tablets from Arnova is the 7. This 7 inch tablet is an affordable tablet price at $99. The display is 7 inch TFT LCD Display with 800 x 480 resolution. It runs Android 2.2 and compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Mac OS or Linux operating systems. The Arnova 7 has Built-in speaker and Microphone, but no camera. This tablet support HD video up to 720p resolution. This is a great entry level tablet for anyone.
Arnova G2 Tablets
The 2nd Generation Arnova 7 and Arnova 7b are the same tablet except for a slight difference in design and the 7b has a front facing camera. Both tablets are powered by an ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. You have to option to choose from 4GB and 8GB models expandable via microSD slot. Users get a 7” multitouch TFT LCD display with 800 x 480 screen resolution. Video playback for the G2 tablet is capable of 1080p vs the 720p for the G1 Arnova tablets. Both the 7 and 7b have 3G capabilities with a USB 3G stick. The MSRP for Arnova 7 and Arnova 7b is $149.99.
Next on the list of 7 inch tablets is the Arnova 7c G2 and Arnova 7e G2. These 2 tablets have embedded 3G chips as opposed to using a 3G stick for 7 and 7b. The Arnova 7e is designed to be an eReader while the Arnova 7c main function is to be a web browser. Both are powered by 1GHz processor and runs Android ANDROID 2.3 Gingerbread. The main difference between the 7c and 7e is storage. The c does not have internal storage but a 4GB microSD is included with your purchase. The e has 4GB of internal flash storage and a SD slot to extend memory up to 32 GB. Another difference between the 2 models is that the 7c has a built in camera while the 7e does not. The MSRP for for Arnova 7c is $149.99 there's no word on price or release date for Arnova 7e.
Arnova has really given every user an option to choose in the 7 inch tablet market. These affordable tablets is giving everyone an opportunity to own a piece of mobile technology.
There's not much difference between Arnova 8 and Arnova 8b aside from the design. Both devices are powered by ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor and the displays are identical 8 inch TFT LCD multitouch screen at 800 x 600 screen resolution. Both tablets require a 3G stick or WiFi for connectivity. The same front facing camera, speaker, G-sensor, and built in mic is current across both models. The only difference in performance is the video playback. While both the 8 and 8b plays video in 1080p the Arnova 8 has Realvideo playback up to 720p resolution. Arnova 8 G2 and Arnova 8b G2 are competitively price at $159.99.
Onto Arnova 9 G2. There's only 1 model to choose from in the 9 inch version. This tablet has a 9.7 inch TFT LCD display in 4:3 format with a 5 point multitouch screen at 1024 x 768 HD resolution. This tablet is powered by a ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor and has 8GB internal flash storage. There's no built in 3G chip but it is capable of connecting to a wireless provider's network via 3G stick. Video playback at 1080p at 30 fps. There's a front camera and dual stereo speakers. The Arnova 9 G2 runs Google's Android Gingerbread. The retail price for Arnova 9 G2 is $199.
Again, same tablet different design. The Arnova 10 G2 and Arnova 10b G2 have almost identical performance features. ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor, 10.1 inch TFT LCD display with 1024 x 600 resolution, Realvideo up to 720p resolution, 720p camera, built-in speakers, microphone, G-sensor, and Android Gingerbread. Both models come in a 4GB or 8GB flash storage expandable with microSD. WiFi enabled but no native 3G chip. Arnova 10 G2 and Arnova 10b G2 are both priced at $199.99
Arnova's line of tablets are attractive not only in appearance but also the prices. None of their tablets are over $200 and they provide the same functions as tablets that cost twice as much. What's nice about Arnova tablets is that they are completely compatible with desktop or laptop operating systems in mass storage mode. As tablets become more mainstream in our daily lives, they need to be priced accordingly. Arnova is making a statement that they understand how users have different needs when it comes to how they use their tablets.
