This microwave design was co-developed by Heinz and Gammz that never went into production. It's a neat concept but had it's problems. For one, the design was too small. It was only good for heating up small items as USB power was not enough to supply a bigger unit. Most offices now days have kitchens with full size microwaves. It may have been good for students who wish to use it for meals between classes, but who would want to carry a microwave in their backpack? Also, cook time for this microwave was reported to be very long. Considering microwaves were suppose to heat food fast, the Beanzaware took forever to warm up a bowl of soup. It's a fun concept but I believe there's no market for this device unless there are improvements to the design. For other portable cooking options, view below.
